RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENTS IN CHERNOBYL EXCLUSION ZONE
According to the materials of scientific report at the meeting of the Presidium of NAS of Ukraine, October 12, 2016

Abstract:
The report provides a brief historical overview of research and developments held by institutions of NAS of Ukraine and other organizations in the Exclusion zone after the Chernobyl catastrophe. It is noted that because of a number of objective reasons the amount of research has fallen abruptly, a number of research polygons and laboratories have been lost. The new administration of the State Agency of Ukraine on Exclusion Zone Management along with the NAS of Ukraine discussed joint efforts on reviving the research and cooperation activities to overcome the consequences of Chernobyl disaster. The key priority issues on which scientific efforts should be concentrated have been designated.
