BIBLIOMETRICS OF UKRAINIAN SCIENCE
Abstract:
Advisability of combining qualitative (made by commission of experts) and quantitative (bibliometric) methods of evaluating research effectiveness is shown. Conceptual foundations of informative and analytical system “Bibliometrics of the Ukrainian Science” are represented. The source base of the system – bibliometric platforms of world aggregates of research and informative resources, is highlighted. Capabilities of the elaborated algorithmic and program tools of analytical calculations over the data, which are represented in the system, are examined. The conclusion is made about the necessity of higher Internet activity of scientists for improvement of their visibility in bibliometric systems.
