To the 90th anniversary of the foundation of the Institute
November 6, 2017 marks the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Pisarzhevsky Institute of Physical Chemistry of NAS of Ukraine - the oldest in Ukraine academic institution of chemical profile and the first in the USSR specialized institute of physical chemistry. The article highlights the main milestones of the history of the Institute, the formation and development of its main scientific directions, outlines the main areas of the Institute’s activities and the most important scientific achievements of its staff.
